world's worst "daily" blogger!

....and you are looking at her! To say this month has been a blur is an grotesque understatement. D travelled, our second floor plumbing leaked, I worked my behind off teaching little people (as in, kids), we ate at some fish fries, and celebrated St. Patrick's Day. whew! Now I am back and feeling a little less like I'm living in the middle of a tornado. : ) My little...err..big blogging break was necessary for my sanity.

In the meantime I'd like to talk about someone and something that is dear to my heart. My sweet friend K. She and her husband and precious baby moved to Alaska last year and I've had a missing piece ever since! Lucky for me I get to overstay my welcome...I mean visit, this summer! K has pledged to run a half marathon (13.1 miles people) this summer to raise money and awareness for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. In my opinion it takes a special person to run 13.1 miles, however it takes an even more special person to help sick children, adults, and families.

K won't ask for it, so I will...could you all find it in your heart to help her cause? We are all so blessed and healthy, a ten or twenty dollar donation is basically lunch at Panera and would mean so very much to K. Here is a link to her blog.
